Gals for Christ Devotional website is a website run by Tess Sanford. She is 49 years old and lives with her husband in Jonesborough, TN. They have been married for 31 years.
She has a heart for help leading women to Christ. Through daily posts she hopes to show you that you are not alone and that we all have a place at Jesus' banquet table. She wishes to use Godly encouragement backed with Scripture to help others along life's long, arduous road.
She is new to the blogging world, like just this week new!
God gave her a desire to help women quite a few years ago. Although, She does not have a formal position in a church or organization somewhere, she has been counseling & praying with women from all walks of life for years.
God directed Tess a few months ago to start a devotional. And what better way to reach lots of women,but by blogging on the internet.
The devotional that she has started is directed to women of all ages & backgrounds.
So, no matter what stage of life you are in or what your current circumstances are, she truly believes this weekly devotional will minister to you.
My Review:
I run across a lot of uplifting and encouraging devotionals. And if you've seen one, you have seen them all. Tess is different. Her site is different. Therefore the light she speaks into us, is different. She allows God to speak through her and she has a burden to reach other women from all walks of life. She wants you to know that you are not alone and that God reaches down to where you are and will meet you there, no questions asked. This shows in her writing.
As I was sent some of the blog proofs that Tess had been working on, I prayed that God would give me the right words to share with all of you.
God Sees You--Is a great post and rally speaks to the fact that even in my pain--outstanding interactions are taking place between me and God. I myself, have a personal life that is very difficult for me and my family. Many people including my family, do no have an idea the things my family and I go through. The reason being because we choose to keep it between us and God.
There have been so much struggle, strife, and pain that I'm surprised we are still standing. But God!! The God that sees me not only in my weakness and my pain but the same God that rejoices with me when there is a good day or a breakthrough. That no matter if I am able to pray the words aloud or just cry tears of deep emotional pain. He sees ME! He is beside me every step of the way.
ISAIAH 49:16 – See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
Tess uses this verse to show us, ALL that God sees and knows everything. It passes through His hands first way before it is handed over to us and that is the good and the bad. But He never wants you to fret or worry about it because He right there, every step of the way.
