Review:The Sumerton Women by D.L. Bogdan

This book was a little more than I expected. I enjoyed it. I even read some of it to my children. They didn't want me to stop reading it. They wanted to know what was going to happen to Mirabella in the end. My oldest was in tears by the end of the book. So we liked it a lot. Here is a summary from the back of the book:
Orphaned at age eight, Lady Cecily Burkhart becomes the ward of Harold Pierce, Earl of Sumerton.
