Review:Schoolhouse Teachers.com

The website www.schoolhouseteachers.com is meant to be a HUGE help to homeschoolers. As a division of the homeschool magazine The Old Schoolhouse, the website is packed to the hilt with everything possible you could ever need to get your homeschool year off to the right start. The people that work behind the scenes to create this website have thought of everything. One of the first things I noticed is that they show you all the teachers involved and give you a summary on each and every one. They have grade listed items so if you want to search by grade level you can. But they also have subjects listed in case that is what you prefer to search by.

Something that is very interesting is that they have a library with a lot of helpful resources to help you along the way. For every subscriber they have reading lists, free e books, free games, a craft shelf, an art shelf, and many, many other things included in the library portion of the website. There is a What's New? tab that shows you what has been added recently. So there is always something being added so your subscription is not for the same old stuff day after day. It changes so there is always something new and insightful to help you on your homeschool journey.

Don't think for a minute that this website only addresses the younger grades that is not the case at all high school children can take advantage of the offerings as well. SchoolhouseTeachers.com knows that there are many families that enjoy all that technology has to offer so they have developed apps for those of you that have those devices. They have apps available for Apple, Kindle and Android devices. I just can't say enough about all this website has to offer. You get so much for your money you just really cannot lose on this one. Below you will find pictures of a lapbook I printed from their website for my little guy to work on this week. He really enjoyed it!

I simply can't tell you enough about this awesome resource. It benefits not only the veteran homeschooler but the families that are new to homeschooling as well. They even include recipes, which is something we all could use.

To subscribe you pay only $1 for the first month and $5.95/month there after or you can purchase an entire years membership for $64.26.

  1. Oh I saw the lapbook printables the other day - and I was thinking, can't wait to try them out.

It was great to come over and see what one of them looks like all done. :o)
