My Review:
First of all, I was wondering how many of you ever read the dedications of a book. Ya know, the part of the book wear the author or in this case authors dedicate the book to someone. The authors really made me smile on this one. It was such a sweet sentiment.
To all parents everywhere who quietly go about the work of pouring their lives and unconditional love into the hearts of their children.
Okay now on to the juicy details........
Ken Blanchard, Tricia Goyer, and Phil Hodges collaborated on this book with each in their own right having families and enough years under their belts raising them to give us all a few pointers on how to get better at doing it ourselves. The authors go about giving us insights into what has worked for them and their families over the years. Putting God first will always, always always lead you down the best path for your family. The authors have also given pause and reflect tips at the end of each chapter. As well as Points to ponder and final thoughts. We need to focus on glorifying God even in leading our families not just in our own personal spiritual walk. If we do this then we will get the best out of our children.
