This month's Gabby Mom review is all about helping those around us especially those that are grief stricken. I know from experience as well do the power grief has over a body when we lose someone very close to us. Thinking about continuing on with everyday activities seem to elude us during that time. Well Lorrie has always been one that was accused of being able to say the right thing at the right time and has really opened up to us all on this one.
Alot of times the ones watching things like this unfold are at a loss on what to say or what to do. But Lorrie combs through it all and shows us with a little sympathy to the heart we can help those around us when they are having these trying times. Maybe just to sit a listen to them, to cry with them. Maybe a card or a series of cooked meals delivered to their door. She also gives you many things you should not say which was really comforting. I know during my miscarriage many family members said some pretty upsetting things to me that I still have not forgotten. So please know your words carry alot of weight with them.
There also some meal ideas and recipes included so you don't have to frantically pour over cookbooks to find the right recipe. She gives you so other great ideas that I bet you never thought of. Running errands, cleaning, picking up their children from school and many more. This is a nifty resource to have and keep on hand for times such as these.
