Review: Peace on Earth, a Christmas Collection by:Mary Engelbreit

Peace on Earth, a Christmas Collection
About the Book:
Mary Engelbreit's Peace on Earth: A Christmas Collection rings in the holiday with classic Christmas carols, the story of Jesus' birth, and beloved poems that celebrate the season with her beloved and engaging illustrations.

About the Author:
Mary Engelbreit grew up studying the illustrations in the vintage storybooks of her mother's own childhood, and she developed a unique style that harkens back to those simpler times. Mary's distinctive images have made her a celebrity to millions, who eagerly snap up gift items, calendars, books, fabrics, and more. Mary's dearest wish has always been to illustrate for children. Her New York Times bestselling The Night Before Christmas is already part of the holiday tradition for families across the country.

My Review:
It has become a time honored tradition in homes everywhere to get a Mary Engelbreit book and sit by the fire and enjoy. Enjoy-- because she takes timeless illustrations and creates a virtual winter wonderland for the eyes in every book she has written and shared with her readers. In Peace on Earth it is traditionally the same as her other books.

But with this book it is entirely focused on the love and wonder of Christmas not to mention why there even is a Christmas season. Mary has collected songs, poems, stories, and quotes that are some of her favorites and shared with us in the hopes that they will become our favorites too. The author has done a marvelous job at making this book one to be treasured for a lifetime.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Booksneeze.
