About the Authors:
Jean E. Syswerda is a former editor and associate publisher for Zondervan Bibles. She helped produce such bestselling Bibles as the NIV Women’s Devotional Bible. General editor of the Women of Faith Study Bible and A Mom's Ordinary Day Bible Study Series, she is the author of the Women's Devotional Guide to the Bible and coauthor of the bestselling Read With Me Bible. Jean and her husband, John, have three children and six grandchildren. They live in Allendale, Michigan.
Dennis Jones loves to draw. His artwork can be seen in books, magazines, games, toys and Sunday school curriculum. He’s illustrated several children’s products including the Read with Me Bible and the NIrV Super Heroes Bible. Dennis lives in Indiana with his wife Karen and has two grown sons.
My Review:
Boys are always so full of life. They think that super heroes exist only in video games and on television but that couldn't be further from the truth. The Bible is full of super heroes and villains, so what is a om to do, when trying to purchase a Bible for her son that is only interested in those things? Simple, get him The Super Heroes Bible In 3D, comes complete with 3D glasses---perfect for that fan in your life of all things "Super Hero".
There is an introductory page that tells you exactly how to use this Bible. The New International Readers Version is a version that is suppose to be easier to read and understand. Each book has an introduction that gives the reader a little background into the story. There are over 200 profiles as well as a Super Hero Decoder for the reader to use to figure out a Bible character's exclusive Super Hero trait. There are Power Surge Bible verses and amazing full color illustrations. This Bible is awesome for young boys ages 6-10 years old. This is the perfect gift for those active little boys in our lives that believe in Super Heroes!
