About the Author:
Award winning author Carole P. Roman is a former teacher turned businesswoman. She has successfully run a family business with her husband that employs close to five hundred people. Her most favorite job is being grandmother to her many grandchildren. Roman has two wonderful sons and hit the jackpot in the daughter-in-law department. She currently lives on Long Island with her husband.

My Review:
 Captain No Beard and his crew are at it again, they are off on another exciting adventure! This one is all about bullying. The crew starts to bully the newest crew member Matie the goat only to  be told that the Captain will not allow such a thing on his ship and they must respect and value the fellow crew members. The crew learn a valuable lesson that day in the art of friendship.

 Nowadays bullying seems to run rampant and we need more people willing to step up and step in to do something about it. The illustrations in the book are beautiful as they always are with one of Carole Roman's books and the story is fitting and perfect for today's kids.
