Review: Desperate Measures by:Sandra Orchard
About the Book:
Researcher Kate Adams has finally pinpointed the medicinal plant responsible for tearing her family apart. She's certain that discovering its secrets is her only hope of solving the mystery surrounding the disappearance of her father. Kate will risk anything to find the truth--even her budding relationship with Detective Tom Parker. But more people than she can fathom are after the plants and going it alone just might prove to be a fatal mistake.
My Review:
Researcher Kate Adams finally has the plant, that basically destroyed her family, in the palm of her hands. Something so special, that could do that has, to do something amazing. Said to be a miraculous plant, Kate believes she will have to figure that out herself. Now to keep it all a secret. But the plan to keep quiet, becomes messed up when her friend comes to help her paint a room. With everything seeming all to sneaky, Kate begins to worry someone is coming after her again.
Detective Tom Parker thought her would be over Kate Adams by now, but seeing her after all this time, strikes the same ole feelings. But after he sent her father away, just after finding him, Kate could nothing more than hate him. And that he is sure of. But he discovers she is hiding something, that can endanger herself and those around her, he knows her must protect her no matter what.
Desperate Measures is book three in the Post Aster Secrets series. This book is filled with every bit of adventure and mystery the author could give it. being book three, it didn't lack a bit compared to the others. Sandra Orchard is an amazing author and she knows how to write an epic story.
**Disclosure**This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Revell.
