Review: The Good Samaritan by:David Miles

The Good Samaritan
About the Book:
Ever wonder why they called him the Good Samaritan? Find out why in this level 2 I Can Read, written in the tradition of the popular Adventure Bible.

Jewish people and the Samaritans were enemies they would never have considered helping one another. So what happens when a Jew is robbed, and left on the side of the road to die? Who stops to help? Read as Jesus tells a remarkable story about a man who serves his neighbor as God would want. Perfect for beginning readers ages 4-8, learning Bible stories on their own."

My Review:
We all know the story of the Good Samaritan. History tells us that the people of Samaria were  basically shunned as unclean people so no one wanted to associate with them. But when there was a Jewish man injured on the side of the road left to do, person after person walked by. But when a very kind Samaritan seen the man he cared for him and seen to it he survived. Even after all the hostility his people and many others shown his people he still had grace.

That is what we are called to do even among many that don't believe as we do. We show grace. We attempt to give away the grace that was shown to us on the cross. An amazing story to teach children and it is written in easy reader format on level 2, reading with help. Zonderkidz is an amazing publishing company that is putting Bible stories into book form for our children to learn from. This book, in particular is geared towards ages 4-8.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review through the Z Blog Squad.
