Review: Christmas Love Letters from God by:Glenys Nellist

Christmas Love Letters from God: Bible Stories
About the Book:
Written for children ages four to eight, Christmas Love Letters from God cleverly combines both prose and poetry as the story of Jesus’ birth unfolds. The book includes seven stories, beginning with Isaiah’s prophecy and ending with the visit of the wise men. Following each story, the child will find his or her own letter from God, folded into a small envelope attached to the page. Each letter begins with a space in which to write the child’s name, so each one can be specially addressed to the child.

Written as if God is speaking, each personalized message gives the young reader a sense of wonder as they discover anew the Christmas holiday and the birth of Jesus. A very special Bible verse, entitled God’s Perfect Promise, also accompanies each story and letter as God’s personal words of love, promise, and hope.

My Review:
To go along with the author's already awesome series, Love Letters from God, she has released a Christmas version just in time for the holidays. Not only is it the best holiday book for little hands and ages 4-8, it is also a lift the flap book which adds to the excitement.

It is very important for our children to know why there is a Christmas and where it came from. It is very important to know that God sent His son in the form of a baby to save us from our sin. The Christmas Love Letters from God are a very encouraging breath we need during the holidays. They give our children a break from the holiday chaos and bring them to a peaceful center of learning more about this Savior that we all so desperately need.

The Christmas season is the perfect time to just "be". It is a great time to take it all in and enjoy the holiday season with your children. This is the perfect book to do just that.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author.
