My Review:
What a telling book. I really enjoyed this book and the lessons that it pointed out that we all have to go through sometimes. Using the story of Sarah, the author takes us on the journey to what Sarah eventually became. Sarah had to go through some pretty dark times to reach the place of destiny that God called her to. Even after her plans go awry for her to become a mother through Ishmael, God sits in wait, waiting for her to realize that He is the only one that can give her the desires of her heart.
God is perfect and sovereign, He and He alone knows us and He knows what it's going to take to bring us to a place of surrender. That place of surrender usually comes by sacrifice. We see that when He sacrificed His own Son to save us all. My family and I know first hand when things suddenly don't go as planned.
We have as the author states in the book summary waited for years to see God's plan come to pass. It is hard, real hard to wait. We have had a gamut of feelings and emotions on our particular issue. You will! But losing focus on God will be your downfall.
An awesome read about waiting on God. The author provided a lot of good information! Loved it!
