Review: Two Suitors for Anna by:Molly Jebber

Two Suitors for Anna (A Keepsake Pocket Quilt Novel)
About the Book:
In 1903 Ohio, a young Amish woman must choose between the life she has long planned for and a new, very different future… Since Anna Plank moved to Berlin, Ohio, with her widowed mamm and two schweschders, she’s found a real sense of belonging. As soon as her beloved Noah Schwartz proposes, they’ll begin a new chapter here together. But Noah has a surprise for Anna: once they’re married, he wants them to travel and live in other communities. Anna, who loves her home and her job at the quilt shop, is distraught when he takes her hesitation as rejection—and leaves.

Daniel Bontrager’s arrival adds to Anna’s confusion. Since taking over his late brother’s farm, the handsome roofer has offered friendship and gentle attentions. Yet the pull of first love is strong and deep, especially when Noah returns. Through each revelation, Anna must search her faith for guidance, knowing she is choosing not just a husband, but a life to nurture and to share…

My Review:
When Anna got married to Noah, I don't think she anticipated moving around a lot. She plans on staying in her community and enjoy her family and friends and those around her, but Noah has other plans. Soon Anna is hit right between the eyes with attentions that she didn't quite expect from roofer, Daniel. This more than complicates things for Anna, she realizes she has many decisions to make.

At first Anna was enjoying life again after Noah's departure but when he comes back to town it complicates things for Anna. She feels like she is being pulled in two different directions. This is a love triangle that no one will seem to win. The story was a good story and had a lot of interesting characters. Can't wait to see what else the author will do in the future.

I think Anna was having a real tough time before the arrival of Noah which only seem to complicate things. Poor Anna, like we all; must make a choice.  A choice that seems fitting for all. I really didn't like the position that Anna was placed in and frankly Noah was in my opinion messing everything up for a love that he already had. I was really aggravated with him and his behavior. I personally wanted Daniel to win her heart.
