Review: Season of my Enemy by:N Musch

Season of My Enemy (Heroines of WWII)

**Disclosure**This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

About the Book:

“Get Your Farm in the Fight” - The Realities of WWII Come to a Wisconsin Farm

Full of intrigue, adventure, and romance, this series celebrates the unsung heroes—the heroines of WWII.

Only last year, Fannie O’Brien was considered a beauty with a brain, and her future shone bright, despite the war pounding Europe. With her father’s sudden death and her brothers overseas, Fannie must now do the work of three men on their 200-acre farm—until eight German prisoners arrive and, just as Fannie feared, trouble comes too. Someone seems intent on causing “accidents,” and Fannie is certain the culprit is one of the two handsome older Germans—or possibly both. Can she manage the farm, keep the prisoners in line, and hold her family together through these turbulent times?

My Review:

My dad fought in WWII so reading about that time period or really anything on the subject intrigues me. I try to digest all I can. I love real to life documentaries and I'm sure my family is bored with all of the things I watch on the subject. Fannie is really a great character. I feel that she was doing what most women did back in those days when all the men were either sick or off to war.

We as women dont throw around punches, we set to work as soon as we are offered an obstacle that is in our way. Its just the way it is. I really liked the main characters perspective on the events surrounding the war and how it related to her home life. Its nice to see things from that point of view.

 I really enjoyed the read!
